FCI Watchman Syllabus/Exam Pattern 2017:
Food Corporation of India has invited the application by the eligible and interested candidates to apply for Watchman posts released in 2017. All the details are available on the official website for FCI watchman examination 2017. The corporation will be organizing the written exam for 408 posts of the Watchman released by the Food Corporation of India Recruitment Board. The interested candidates can apply for the posts, and the candidates who have applied for the posts need to prepare well to ensure good marks and selection in the written exam phase. To prepare well they would need the exam syllabus, for which candidates are now waiting eagerly and searching the same. Candidates must go through syllabus properly to know what to study.

FCI Watchman Selection Procedure:
Written Exam of the candidates shall be conducted by the Food Corporation of India and the qualified candidates shall be called for a physical fitness test. The results f every round shall be updated on the website. A merit list will be released after both the rounds for finally selected candidates.
FCI Watchman Exam Pattern 2017:
Candidates to note a very important point that the written exam has no negative marking scheme and for every right answer 1 mark shall be awarded. There would be 120 questions in all in the written exam question paper for duration of 120 minutes i.e., 2 hours. The pattern of the exam is multiple choice question/ objective paper. The date for the exam is yet to be announced by the Food Corporation of India.

Syllabus for logical Reasoning – The section focuses on the general intelligence of the candidate and tries to manipulate and understand the logical awareness and alertness of the candidates. The syllabus includes data sufficiency problems, puzzles and reasoning problems, verbal reasoning, analogies, non verbal reasoning, relationships, visual memory, shapes, and general situation questions etc.
Syllabus for General Awareness – The section focuses on the general awareness of the society and nation. The syllabus includes current affairs, constitution, notable events, history, geography, revolutions, movements, countries and capitals, states and capitals, rives and oceans, mountains and peaks, economy of India, sports person, eminent personalities, etc.
Syllabus of General English – This section checks the command of the candidate over the English language in general. The basics of English are constituents of the section such as grammar rules, synonyms and antonyms, comprehensions, sentence correction, spotting the error, fill in the missing form, spelling problems, phrases and idioms etc.
Syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude – The section comprises of mathematics basics such as interest problems, number system, probability, speed, time and distance, train problems, permutations and combination problems, percentages, arithmetic problems, geometry etc.
